CABI is a not-for-profit international organisation that improves people’s lives by providing information and applying scientific expertise to solve problems in agriculture and the environment.
Our mission and direction is influenced by our member countries who help guide the activities undertaken. These include scientific publishing, development projects and research and microbial services. CABI helps address issues of global concern, such as food security through science, information and communication. We do this by helping farmers improve crop yields and combat threats to agriculture from pests and diseases, improving access to agricultural and environmental scientific knowledge, and protecting biodiversity.
